One of my favorite details of our wedding day was the jewelry I designed at Kendra Scott in Tampa! At their Color Bar I created gifts for my bridesmaids and my own bridal pieces. My bridesmaids all had matching earrings and bracelets, and on their bracelets they each had two different stones chosen with their personalities in mind.
I had never even heard of an experience like the Color Bar so here is a quick run down of my highlights for anyone who is interested! You can use their Color Bar online too if you don’t have a store nearby, but going in person was a treat! When you arrive for your appointment (or party if you bring your bridesmaids!), you’ll be greeted with a tasty glass of champagne, a book of all your jewel and setting options (which are practically endless), and a super helpful KS employee to walk you through the process.
After picking out my favorite jewelry types, we got all of the stones out to see what colors best matched the dress swatches I brought. It was the most beautiful mess I have ever seen: gorgeous rose quartz and dainty jewelry settings all across the white granite tabletop. Every stone is different, so after we chose the color, I picked out the individual stones that would go in each piece. It was so much fun to choose these small details and surprise my girls with beautiful jewelry they can wear again!
I chose my bridal pieces so that they would mirror the shape of my bridesmaids, but match my love for neutrals. We kept rose quartz throughout all of the jewelry and it was the perfect delicate shade of blush. The ivory pearl in my earrings created the perfect wedding bridal sparkle, while still being classic and something i wear again regularly!
Kendra Scott also recently launched a delicate bridal collection and it is STUNNING. Here are a few of my recommendations for bridal or bridesmaid jewels!
