One of the most important, and most difficult, parts of wedding planning for David and I was writing our own vows. I sat down and wrote mine about 20 times, David wrote his in traffic on the way to work (#romance). After combining what we each came up with into separate vows that mirrored each other, it hit me that this was really happening. For the first time in 10 months of planning, I truly felt that we were getting married. So naturally, I burst into tears.
The ceremony was such a short part of our wedding day that I wanted to carry it into the reception. What better way to do that than to share our vows? Lauren Heim Studio (@LaurenHeimStudio) beautifully combined the verses of our vows into a hand lettered masterpiece. We then had her one-of-a-kind print framed by Framebridge with their custom framing option. Super easy and the gold frame could not have matched our decor better!
Our vows rested on the fireplace mantle in the central room of our reception. At the very heart of a house packed with our family and friends. It was perfect.
Working with Framebridge was so easy that I’m planning to order a couple holiday gifts through them this year (wedding photos for everyone!). You can use the code ‘WHITBLAKE15‘ for 15% off your first order. They have so many frame options that you can create a thoughtful gift with just a few clicks. Gotta love easy gifting!
